A resident of Cloncurry in North West Queensland Ed Morrison has been chosen to best represent the LNP at the next election in the seat of Kennedy.

Ed was raised on a dairy farm West of Brisbane before becoming an Electrician. For a time also produced small crops on the family farm.

His background from then only grew as he ventured into mining contracting, developer of commercial buildings and businesses and local Government.

Ed was elected Mayor of Cloncurry Shire from 2004 to 2008 and in his time helped to provide professional medical services, built and improved infrastructure within the towns and the shire.

A father of four boys and married for 17 years, Ed helped restart the local Scout group in 2009 becoming a scout leader and ran the first Air Show for the local Rotary Group.

Ed Morrison would be a stable and sound representative for the people of Kennedy  bring a vast range of experiences and a sense of community to his electorate.
